Software engineer, tech lead, and runner.

I’m Sai Charan, a software engineer based in Bengaluru. I graduated in 2022 with an honours degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Bangalore Institute of Technology.

Straight after college I joined the AI Enablement team at State Street. The team helps the company use AI securely and put it to work on real business problems.

I started by building services and data pipelines. Over time I took ownership of larger systems — first a monitoring platform that became the company standard, and now the AI Control Plane, where I am tech lead.

Much of my work today is with people outside engineering: governance, audit and finance teams. I enjoy turning their requirements into tools that are simple for everyone to use.

Outside work I run, cycle, trek and go on motorcycle rides. Training for races has taught me the value of steady, consistent effort — something I bring to my work as well.
